Our In-chair Whitening Process
Curious about how professional teeth whitening actually works? Here’s what you can expect during your 90-minute whitening appointment at Blackwood Dental:
1. Consultation: Our clinician assess your teeth and gums to make sure whitening is safe and suitable for you.
2. Preparation: A protective barrier is applied to your gums and soft tissues to keep everything safe.
(Please note: a professional clean is not included in this offer. If required, this will be arranged prior to whitening.)
3. Application: Our dentist applies the professional-grade POLA® whitening gel to your teeth. The gel is activated in cycles, working deep into your enamel to lift stains.
4. Relax & refresh: Sit back while the whitening system works. The full treatment takes around 90 minutes.
5. Enjoy your brighter smile: Walk out with instant results and lasting confidene. Most patients notice their teeth are several shades whiter after one visit.
